U18AAA Rebels Head coach application

Hockey Regina is accepting applications for the position of Head Coach for their Female U18 AAA Hockey Team. The Regina U18 AAA Avana Rebels are operated by Hockey Regina Inc.

POSITION TITLE: Head Coach

POSITION SUMMARY: The Coach is selected and appointed by Hockey Regina Inc. with consultation from the appointed AAA division director. He/She is responsible for the overall player preparation and supervision, as well as the coaching of the team throughout training camp, regular season, post season. This team competes in the SFMAAAHL.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. Must be High-Performance 1 Certified
2. Respect in Sport Certified

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Serve as official spokesman/spokeswoman on behalf of the team
2. Be present and lead for all team functions.
3. Assist in the coordination, organization, set up of team evaluations as requested by Hockey Regina Inc. and the appointed AAA Division Director.
4. Attend all pre-zone camps, Sask First Tournaments and club evaluations in communication with the AAA division director.
5. Participate in camp registration and parent/player informational meeting.
6. Plan, implement, and administer a High-Performance season plan for the team.
7. In cooperation with the Coaches, responsible for the team during all games and practices.
8. In cooperation with Hockey Regina Inc. and the AAA Division Director, establish team rules and guidelines.
9. In cooperation with the coaching staff, is responsible for the supervision of the players when they are together as an official group.
10. In cooperation with the coaching staff, ensure that EVERY player is provided a fair opportunity to participate and be part of the team.
