Player pathway for 15-year-olds (born 2008)

Hockey Sask has formed an 8 team provincial 15-year-old AA league that will start in the upcoming 2023/24 season. Regina will have one team in the league along with Saskatoon, Weyburn, Moose Jaw, Melville, Battleford, Prince Albert, Martensville.

There will be one combined tryout for U18AA and U16AA. The three U18AA teams will be picked first followed by the U16AA team.

15-year-old players (2008's) will have the following options (subject to evaluation rankings):

If a 15-year old registers for U18AA, and is not selected to a U18AA team, they will need to inform the HRI office if they do not wish to be considered for the U16AA team
