City of Regina Indoor Facility Mask requirement

Sep. 03, 2021

The City of Regina announced earlier this week a mandatory masking requirement in City owned facilities beginning Saturday, September 4. Those mandatory requirements will apply to all Regina ice arenas which includes the Co-opertors Centre.  Children under 2 years of age, persons with medical conditions or those who cannot place or remove masks without assistance are exempt. Masks are not required during physical activity but must be worn in public places.

The City is also working towards requiring proof of vaccination for the public accessing indoor City facilities starting Monday, September 20. While further details surrounding proof of vaccination will be announced by the City in the coming weeks, there will certainly be exceptions. Residents under the age of 12, who are currently unable to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, will be exempt from the proof of vaccination requirement including the alternative of a negative test.
