What do my HRI fees cover?
Included in the HRI fees are the cost of the league and playoff games, practices, jerseys, socks and insurance.
Do a portion of my fees go to support other teams/divisions within HRI?
No. The fees in each division are established on a cost neutral basis. Only the costs of that team/division are used in determining the fees.
Do I pay the HRI fees directly to HRI?
No. Upon being placed on a team, the balance of HRI fee is paid directly to the team. The team then pays HRI the appropriate amount.
What is the Maximum team fee (Column C+D)?
This is the maximum amount that each team can charge each player. Included in this fee is tournament fees, additional practice ice, team clothing, pictures, team wind-up, etc. Teams cannot ask for more than the maximum player fee. Note clothing and pictures are included in the team fees but they are strictly voluntary and a family may wish to not participate.
When is the team fee payable?
Teams are only allowed to collect up to 50% of the team fee at the start of the season. Hockey Regina will determine when the other portion can be collected. This will depend on when we return to "normal" games.
