2016 SJHL Draft
Hockey Regina congratulates the 9 HRI players selected today in the second ever Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League player draft. The draft was from the pool of Saskatchewan players born in the year 2001 that will be entering their first season of midget hockey in 2016-17.
In total, 66 players were selected in the draft over 6 rounds by the 12 SJHL member clubs.
HRI congratulates the following Regina players:
Carter Belitski: 4th overall; Notre Dame Hounds
Parker Hendren: 7th; Flin Flon Bombers
Jervahn Gyorfi: 16th; Notre Dame Hounds
Sebastian Eger: 19th; Flin Flon Bombers
Eric Houk: 20th; Estevan Bruins
Jack Glen: 28th; Notre Dame Hounds
Alex McDougall: 36th; Humboldt Broncos
Skyler Sangster: 40th; Notre Dame Hounds
Evan Sare: 43rd; Flin Flon Bombers
