Midget AAA coaching appointments

Hockey Regina announces the appointment of Mike Merk as head coach of the Midget AAA Rebels and the re-appointment of Darrin McKechnie as head coach of the Midget AAA Pat Canadians for the 2016/17 season.

2015/16 will be Mike's first year behind the Rebels bench after a long career coaching minor hockey within Hockey Regina. Mike has coached all levels from Initiation to Bantam AA.

Darrin returns for his second season as the Pat Canadian’s head coach. In Darrin’s first season, the Canadians finished in 1st place and lost out to the eventual League Champions, Notre Dame Hounds, in the semi-final series.
