Hockey Regina congratulates the 10 HRI players selected today in the first ever Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League player draft.  The draft was from the pool of Saskatchewan players born in the year 2000 that will be entering their first season of midget hockey in 2015-16.

In total, 66 players were selected in the draft over 6 rounds by the 12 SJHL member clubs.

HRI congratulates the following Regina players:
Randen Schmidt: 9th overall; Notre Dame Hounds
Lukas Silliger: 10th; Melville Millionaires
Alex Kannok-Leipert: 15th; Weyburn Redwings
Carson Denomie: 16th; Humboldt Broncos
Peyton Gorski: 17th; Melville Millionaires
Chase Nameth: 28th; Weyburn Redwings
Reece Henry: 36th; Yorkton Terriers
Nathan Moore: 41st; Melville Millionaires
Jaxon Ford: 45th; Notre Dame Hounds
Christian Riemer:
 48th; Yorkton Terriers
Peyton Jerome: 53rd; Melville Millionaires
