Novice teams played for the Stanley Cup
It was a dream come true for eight Novice teams in Hockey Regina as they got the chance to play for the Stanley Cup.
As part of the lead up to Hockey Day in Canada on January 18, CBC brought the Cup to Regina on January 14. People got to touch and have their picture taken with the Stanley Cup.
The eight Novice teams took part in 4 games which allowed them to have their team picture taken with the Cup. Memories for a lifetime where had by all.
