World Girls Hockey Day

The International Ice Hockey Federation and Hockey Canada have teamed up for the 3rd annual World Girls Hockey Weekend, which aims to celebrate the female game, unite Canadians in growing women¦s hockey, and provide grassroots programming from coast to coast that allows girls and women of all ages to discover the sport, grow their skills and enjoy everything lacing up skates and stepping onto the ice has to offer.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE PART OF THE LONGEST GAME IN HISTORY?!?!?!
Hockey Canada took the initiative to have the Longest Game in History, having a continuous game coast to coast through every province, linking together female hockey players from all over Canada. Saskatchewan will be participating in the Longest Game in History, through 4 games being played in Regina at the Doug Wickenhieser Arena from 1:00-4:00pm on October 12th. We invite all females in their respective age groups to register, by clicking the link below to become part of the Longest Game in History.

= 40 per division (MAX 4 goalies per division)
= First come first serve
= Will be split onto separate teams
= Will supply jerseys with WGHW Patches
=No cost (will be a donation spot in memory of Mandi Schwartz)
= Each participant will receive a certificate stating that they were part of the Longest Game in History
= All equipment must be worn in order to take place in the game
= Have fun!!!


Division:Game time:
Atom      12:00-1:00pm
Peewee    1:00-2:00pm
Bantam    2:00-3:00pm
Midget     3:00-4:00pm *Registration not yet open for Midget v please check back!
