HRI Appoints Midget AAA coaches
Hockey Regina announces today the appointment of Kim Perepeluk as head coach of the Midget AAA Rebels and Norm Johnston as head coach of the Midget AAA Pat Canadians for the 2012/13 season.
Kim was an assistant last year with the Rebels. He has extensive coaching background at all levels of hockey from Midget AAA to coaching overseas in Austria. Kim was a member of the Regina Pat Canadians when they won the Air Canada Cup in 1988.
Norm returns for his fifth season as the Pat Canadian¦s head coach. He has a long history of coaching for over thirty years. His coaching resume includes stops at the SJHL, WHL levels plus down under coaching in Australia. Norm was coach of the SJHL champions Flin Flon Bombers in 1993.
