Young Hockey Regina player passes away
ETHAN JOHN WENDEL passed away peacefully with his parents by his side on Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Ethan is survived by his parents Jeff and Erin; two brothers Dylan (14), Nolan (6); grandparents Fred and Dianne Wendel, Keith and Ann Mackrill, Jennifer Greenwood and Bob Moore; aunts, uncles and cousins Janie (Dale) Markewich and their children Daniel, Katherine, Juliane, Thomas; Jeana Wendel (Jeff Craigen) and their children Kaitlyn and Caroline; and godparents Jim and Denise Swallow. Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa Street, Regina on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Sid Haugen and Pastor Jeff Tank officiating. A private family interment will take place in Riverside Memorial Park. Special thanks to Dr. A. Essalah, the ambulance attendants, physicians and Dr. J. Buwembo as well as nursing staff and other hospital staff who were so helpful and kind. Flowers most gratefully declined. An Education Fund in Memory of Ethan has been set up for his brothers Dylan and Nolan. Those so wishing, may make donations at any Royal Bank location in Regina.
