Hockey Regina is pleased to announce the selection of Erin Marshall for a two-year Head Coaching agreement of the U18AAA Regina Rebels, commencing for the 2026-2027 season.

The first female since 2015 to lead the program, Marshall, a former University of Regina women’s hockey player, brings exceptional on-ice experience and qualifications to the role with 20 years of coaching experience and a strong focus on development, a key direction of the future of Hockey Regina.  This includes development of not only Rebel players on the ice, but also off the ice, the development pathway to the program and of Hockey Regina grassroots initiatives.

Marshall shows an unmatched passion for the long-term development and success of both the program and athletes, bringing a vigour to player recruitment and retention, specially from the local market, to continue and grow the success of the program into its 20th season.

Marshall and current Head Coach, Kai Leggett, will work closely through the transition of the program post the current season.

Alongside the announcement of the new Rebels AAA Head Coach, Ryan Hodgins will continue to lead the U18AAA Regina Pat Canadians, entering the second year of his current two-year head coaching agreement with Hockey Regina.  Hodgins has led the Pat C’s program since 2023 including a National Championship in 2025. As an organization, Hockey Regina looks forward to the continued growth and momentum of this premier program under the leadership of Hodgins and his staff.
