Parent/Guardian & Player Code of Conducts

As part of the registration process you will be required to review and agree to the parent/guardian code of conduct and agree to review with your player the player code of conduct.  Hockey Regina is committed to the mission of fostering hockey experiences where all can learn, play and succeed; codes of conduct are a tool to clearly outline expectations of conduct through the hockey season at Hockey Regina events. We require and strongly encourage all to review, understand and commit to modelling the conduct and behaviours that contribute to a positive and safe environment.

Hockey Fees

Fees to participate in Hockey Regina are payable at two points in the year.  Upon registration of your player to Hockey Regina and upon placement of your player to a team within Hockey Regina (September or October depending on age division).  Most simplistically this is because fees will vary based on the tier your player plays within their age division and teams individually manage a portion of hockey fees to facilitate team specific activities. These may include but are not limited to, additional practices or exhibition games, tournaments, team building activities, clothing, team pictures and so forth.  Hockey Regina will set a maximum amount teams may collect for these activities. Note that costs for team clothing and pictures are optional for families.

For a detailed description of the fees paid to Hockey Regina and the team fees paid to the team your player is placed on, click here.

Member Fee Rebate Program & Third-Party Funding

Hockey Regina recognizes that hockey can be an expensive sport and is making active changes to broaden the ability for members to earn credit towards hockey fees.  Historically Hockey Regina has offered members the opportunity to work Bingos to earn fee rebates; moving into the 2025-2026 season, members will have the opportunity to work Bingos, support Hockey Regina tournaments, support Hockey Regina evaluations, time keep for age divisions U11-U18 and participate in various ad-hoc opportunities.  Members will be compensated for this work with fee credits applied to their player(s) accounts.  Fee credits that have been earned can be utilized for HRI registration fees or team fees.

Hockey Regina also works with various third-party organizations to provide eligible members with funding support. All third-party funding must be in place prior to October 15th.  To learn more and if you would be eligible, check out these organizations’ websites for further information and application forms:
