Coaching requirements for 2020/21 season *NEW*

Aug. 31, 2020

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, Hockey Canada has developed an online course to ensure hockey volunteers have as much information as possible to prepare for the return to hockey.  For the 2020-21 hockey season, ALL REGISTERED TEAM OFFICIALS are required to complete the Hockey University: Planning a Safe Return to Hockey course. This online course is only about 20 minutes long.

Hockey Regina also requires ALL REGISTERED TEAM OFFICIALS to have a new Criminal Record Check completed at the beginning of EVERY season.

The RPS Criminal Record Check area is open to the public from Monday-Friday. However, due to physical distancing and other health measures in place, the process may be slower than their typical service level. Anyone who is able to file for a Criminal Record Check online is encouraged to do so.

*Please consider getting this done now to avoid the rush once the season begins. HRI can only accept originals so the CRC must be dropped off at our office (cannot be photocopied, printed, scanned, jpg etc.) There is a mail slot to the right of our office door for easy delivery.
