World Girls Hockey Weekend
The World Girls hockey event is full
Purpose:
To create a fun atmosphere for those players involved in Regina Female Hockey. To create another step towards developing a culture that athletes want to be a part of.
We are looking for 24 skaters and 2 goalies in each of the Novice, Atom, PW and Bantam/Midget divisions to play 3 on 3 for 8 different countries. Who will be the champion? Prizes will be donated by West Female Hockey Academy.
- Games will be no longer than 1.5 minutes; if nobody has scored it will be single player elimination shoot out
- After goal, next 2 teams start at center
- Mini World Championship will take no longer then 14-15 minutes to play
- This should allow for minimum 3-4 Mini tournaments to happen with each group in the hour time slot
- Regular 3v3 off-sides rules apply and no icing
- No stoppage other than goal or injury
- We will host the event on Saturday, October 7th approximately 1:00pm-5:00pm, at Cooperators C2 rink
- Novice at 1, Atom at 2, PW at 3 and Bantam/Midget at 4
